Unlock Prophecies Skills without Prophecies? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok, I have a Factions - Nightfall Account. I really want to get Prophecies skills, but don't want to use anymore money. So I was thinking, can I use a Prophecies Trial Key to temporarily play Prophecies, Unlock the skills in PvP, use the skill tome on the desired character, and perhaps get Olias as a hero.
Is this possible? And will I keep the skills if the trial ends? If so, this would be very great.

What Loviatar means, is that you can't link a trial account...for the very reason you give in your OP. :/

Yes, you CAN link a trial, and you CAN unlock skills,

BUT

when the trial ends a padlock appears on the skills and you can no longer use them.

Anything related to Prohecies will be locked.

the upside proph is the cheapest and still a great game to have bunch of good skills and armor

Don't know if the trial thing would work.

But I do reccomend you buy Prophecies. It is now the cheapest, but was, and perhaps still is (aside from a lack of heroes) the best chapter of all three, and you shouldn't miss out on it.

you CAN use the trial to go to cantha / elona and get fancy armor. You will keep it, my ranger has sunspear armor and the account he is on does not have nightfall.
